3rd Monday of the month at 9 PM ET
This free, virtual group is for Autistic Pregnant and Postpartum Moms and Birthing People (up to four years postpartum). Pregnancy and postpartum can be a challenging time for autistic people. Sensory sensitivities and increased unpredictability are just two factors that can make this time difficult. You may also face challenges with transitions, emotional regulation, and managing the sensory and social demands of parenting. Pregnancy and the postpartum period can bring unique and unexpected challenges, and we want you to know that you are not alone.
Our online groups provide a supportive space to connect with others, share experiences, learn practical tools and resources, and both give and receive encouragement. Groups are led by PSI-trained support group leaders with lived and/or professional experience navigating autism during the perinatal period.
Discussion questions will be sent 24 hours in advance via ShareWell (our registration platform) to help participants prepare, only if desired. Introductions are required (this is also the only time cameras are required), but sharing beyond introductions is optional.
A formal diagnosis is not required to attend.
See below for more of what to expect.
To ensure meaningful discussion, this group is limited to 12 participants. Please try to join five minutes early to secure your spot, as we close registration once the group is full.
